Local GWTA players met up with Althea Gibson Tennis Center director Tari Ann Moro and the Carolina in the Morning news team to interview local tennis players and talk tennis. The Women's Team Tennis of Wilmington (WTTW) is a non-U.S.T.A. women's inter-club doubles league that will be played during the daytime. The competition will be divided into 4 flights and each flight will consist of three doubles matches.
Flight 1 (4.0-4.5+rating)
Flight 2 (3.5-4.0 rating)
Flight 3 (3.0-3.5 rating)
Flight 4 (2.5-3.0 rating)
There will be teams from country clubs, subdivisions, and city parks competing in the WTTW. WTTW will hopefully offer expanded competition, increased participation, and a very fun, social atmosphere.

USTA Membership
Many of our USTA sanctioned leagues require USTA membership to participate. You can join the USTA via their web site. You can also renew your USTA membership over the phone with FAX confirmation by calling 1-800-990-USTA. Don't wait till the last moment! All memberships must be current through the end of league play.

| Now is the time to find a team for Adult and Senior League Tennis! Teams started registering January 3 and team registration continues until January 19, but more players can be added until March 27 so there is still time to find a team if you don't have one.
