This Challenge Ladder is a great way to meet other tennis players and to play on your own level whether you are a beginner or 4.0 and to play at your own convenience.
Players set their own matches at their convenience and can play as often or as little as they want and wherever they want. Players are ranked on the ladder similarly to how the pros are ranked, by earning points. The more you play, the more points you receive to improve your ranking.
Open Doubles Division - no partner needed. Make a challenge and the first 3 to respond play
Non-Gender Specific Singles for beginners - anyone 2.5 - 3.0 can play on this ladder; a great way to get match play experience as a beginner

You told us who made the biggest impression on tennis in the greater Wilmington area! Who is the BEST! Drum roll please....
Men's Captain of the Year:
"His administrative skills are unsurpassed. Match scheduling is set early in the season-- no wondering "Am I playing on such/such a date?". He insures a fair split of playing time for all players. He works hard to match differing skills for the best mix. Communicating with other team captains (rainouts, etc) is always done in a timely manner. "
Ladies' Captain of the Year:
"Lisa has captained our team for several years in a row for both regular season and day league. We all have crazy lives, which almost inevitably has meant frequent match lineup changes. I don't know how Lisa keeps it all together, but she handles everything so well, always managing to find even last minute substitutes so we've never had to forfeit, and juggling pairings up to create the ideal lineup out of thin air, with absolutely no drama! It has been a real pleasure to be on her team."
Wilmington Pro of the Year:
"Rod is an excellent teacher and motivator. He takes the time to find out "what is bothering you about your tennis" and really listens and analyzes your reply. Then he always comes up with fun and challenging ways to fix what is bothering you. He is frank enough to make you work hard but kind enough to never make you feel discouraged. He can show tennis players the way to improve; no matter what their rating."
"Best instructor, can always get a point across in an entertaining way; flexible, tries to work with teams and students."
"He is so patient with everyone. He is there for the whole tennis community not just Echo Farms. Awesome with children. He is just AWESOME."
"Rod has helped my team and myself with several new shots and strategies. He is very honest and doesn't sugar coat what you need to work on!!!"
