The GWTA will be sponsoring a QuickStart tennis program over six weekends from September 18 to October 23. There will be an Introductory program for children ages 6-10 and an Instructional program for children 11-14. Cramer Tennis Scholarship. The scholarship is awarded to a boy and girl graduating member of a high school tennis team who exhibits good scholarship, sportsmanship and moral character. |

Tired of playing someone 20 years younger than you? Are you going to be at least 60 this year? If so, join a Super Senior League. Super Senior 60s and Super Senior 70s are leagues for the more mature tennis player looking to match skills against others of similar ability.
***Captains and players wanted***
Men's and Women's Teams
Level of Play:
- Super Senior 60's - 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5 Must be 60 years of age by Dec. 31, 2010
- Super Senior 70's - 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4. Must be 70 years of age by Dec. 31, 2010
- Have Current USTA membership or join USTA
- Have a NTRP rating or self rate according to NTRP guidelines
League fee: $16.00

USTA Membership
Many of our USTA sanctioned leagues require USTA membership to participate. You can join the USTA via their web site. You can also renew your USTA membership over the phone with FAX confirmation by calling 1-800-990-USTA. Don't wait till the last moment! All memberships must be current through the end of league play.

| On Saturday, September 11th, 2010 we are planning a grand opening celebration for the new tennis center. The celebration will include:
A Tennis Carnival for children, 10 am to 12 noon
A QuickStart Tennis Tournament for children, 8 am to 12 noon
A Junior Team Tennis Tournament, 8 am to 12 noon
A World Team Tennis Tournament, 8 am to 8 pm
